as i look out at the ocean shore
i think of the times we had before
you came to me to find your feelings
when the day came to leave, you thought of staying
you told me you loved me, that much is true
and before you left, i said, "i love you, too."
you made me feel a happiness i'd not felt before
this was something i did not want to ignore
we walked on the beach as the sun went down
all i could think was, my god, how...
how come i was blessed with your gorgeous love
